Don trained as an actor and has been continuously working in theatre, TV and film for more than 25 years. His first short film received a short-list nomination, and he has moved forward directing and producing two feature films, “Three Minute Moments” and “K” starring Tamer Hassan and Colin Salmon. Don co-directed a multimedia project at London’s BFI with Cannes Palme d’Or winner Apichatpong Weerasethakul.
Now based in Poland, he is the artistic director of the “English Touring Theatre Company” performing all over Poland and delivering acting workshops. All details can be found at: http://www.ettc.pl
Dr. Richard M. Cash is an award-winning educator and who has worked in the field of education for more than 30 years. His range of experience includes teaching, curriculum coordination, and program administration. Currently, he is an internationally recognized education consultant (www.nrich.consulting). His consulting work has taken him throughout the United States, as well as into Canada, The Czech Republic, China, Cyprus, England, Indonesia, Kuwait, Mexico, Poland, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, South Korea, and Turkey.
Richard received his Doctorate in Educational Leadership, and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis, MN. Along with his Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Richard holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Theater from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. For over 10 years, he co-directed a children’s theater company in Minnesota, and co-authored 4 award winning children’s plays. He was recipient of the National Association for Gifted Children’s Early Leader Award (2011), recognizing his leadership in programing for gifted children. Richard was also named the “Friend of the Gifted, 2016” by the Minnesota Educators of the Gifted and Talented.
His areas of expertise are educational programming, rigorous and challenging curriculum design, differentiated instruction, 21 st century skills, brain-compatible classrooms, gifted & talented education, and self-regulated learning. Dr. Cash authored the books Advancing Differentiation: Thinking and Learning for the 21 st Century, (2017) winner of The Legacy Book® Award for Outstanding Educators Publication; Differentiation for Gifted Learners: Going Beyond the Basics (2014) (co-author Diane Heacox), winner of The Legacy Book® Award for Outstanding Educators Publication (2014); and Self- Regulation in the Classroom: Helping Students Learn How to Learn (2016). Richard lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Palm Springs, CA, USA.
Ms. Daly’s childhood living in Japan, Korea, Panama, Germany and five U. S. States shaped her worldview to be adaptable and curious. As an educator, she is known for challenging students to give their best while supporting their efforts to do so. With two decades of experience in multiple learning contexts, she is currently an English instructor at Wayne Community College (WCC). She is a Global Education Leader with UNC-CH World View and is proud to be part of a team who is bringing the North Carolina Scholars of Global Distinction Program to WCC in the fall of 2020. She is also an Ambassador for the Fulbright Teachers for Global Classrooms and an alumni of the Teaching Excellence and Achievement (TEA) Program with the U. S. State Department. She has received many nominations and awards for her teaching and was selected the 2014-15 Wayne County Teacher of the Year.
A highly qualified teacher, her subject expertise is Geography; holds the post of Deputy Dean Student Welfare, Delhi Public School, Gurgaon; has piloted and been involved with a number of national and international projects; has written and submitted units, i.e. for class XII Geography – CBSE – international Syllabus Text Book, was awarded a fellowship for the Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program (TEA) – a program of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State, implemented by IREX in 2010; with fellow collaborators from Poland and USA were awarded TEA-ILEP Alumni Small Grants; edited a book of short stories – The Power of International Stories: Coming of Age in the Global Village. She gained professional experience by implementing projects in companies from the consulting, infrastructure, IT and training industries, as well as cooperating with startups in the implementation of innovative projects. She was the leader of the project on best practices in management, monitoring and promotion of new technologies by Polish and global technology assessment institutions. Recently associated with the financial sector as a Business Project Lead. In her free time, as a volunteer, she supports educational initiatives directed at children and youth.
Assistant Director for International Recruitment, Partnerships and Engagement at Intensive English Institute, Florida Atlantic University. Konstancja is a 4th year Ph.D. candidate in Educational Leadership and Administration program at Florida Atlantic University and is currently writing her dissertation on foreign language anxiety among international college students at U.S. universities. Konstancja is originally from Poland, however she moved to the United States in 2011 to pursue her double Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish (minor in French) and Global Studies from South Dakota State University. After her Bachelor’s Degree, she moved to Boca Raton, Florida where she received her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Florida Atlantic University. Konstancja specializes in international students’ transition to U.S. universities, foreign language anxiety, international recruitment, and educational leadership. She has presented at conferences such as NAFSA Regional, NAFSA Annual, Women Leadership Institute and WeLead Diversity Symposium as well as trained faculty and young leaders on foreign language anxiety issue. Konstancja also serves as the liaison between Florida Atlantic University and EducationUSA and other educational partners around the world. During her assistantship at Florida Atlantic University Konstancja had a chance to teach leadership courses, academic communication courses as well as cross-cultural issues courses. One of Konstancja’s passions is creating international trainings that will enhance and reflect cultural sensitivity and diversity. She also won People’s Choice Heat award and Second Runner-Up Heat award at 3 Minute Thesis Competition at Florida Atlantic University in 2018.
A creative producer with 10+ years’ experience, classically-trained cellist, passionate about creating technology-driven cultural initiatives, with a strong commitment to the social responsibility of arts. Kasia has vast experience both in startup, public and NGO environments. Currently, she is developing technology-immersed part of the artistic program of the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice, collaborating with IBM and Fujitsu among others. Since 2017 she has been developing Automatophone Foundation which focuses on sound art, contemporary music projects and events for the Deaf community. She was also a co-founder of the ONSTAGE mobile app — a game-changing mobile solution for concert venues. Previously, Kasia developed international cultural projects at the Adam Mickiewicz Institute: I, CULTURE Orchestra and the Polska Music Program working with the leading cultural institutions worldwide. She is an alumna of Google for Startups Founders Academy (’20), Vital Voices Open Mentoring Programme (’19) and Aspen Young Leaders Programme (’17).
