We, here at WorldLINK Foundation dreamt of a world of global education where education was not compartmentalised based on the divides of country, culture, gender etc. But what we did not imagine was that a pandemic like COVID 19 would spin the concept of global education into action quicker than before.
Covid-19 is making its mark on the world, tearing through countries and communities, challenging each of us daily in ways, both big and small. It could have a lasting impact on the trajectory of learning innovation and digitization.The pandemic is also an opportunity to remind ourselves of the skills students need in this unpredictable world such as informed decision making, creative problem solving, time management and perhaps above all, adaptability and stress management.
From school closures, to isolation, to a persistent sense of anxiety, the effects of this pandemic are greatly impacting youth. Despite the crisis, learning should never stop. This is why the WorldLINK Foundation is committed to providing the prospective global citizens of this newly evolving world with a bright future that they so rightly deserve.
